I just feel like I was living under the Rock after I used Lacto calamine Oil Control lotion. You see it’s been on my wish list since forever, I have seen this everywhere, its affordable, I have heard people raving about it everywhere; reviews and family, friends. But me, no I had to take my sweet little time to try it :/ Seriously what’s with me!!!!

My experience with Lacto calamine Oil Control:
This has 2 variants Hydration and Oil-control. I have the Oil control version . The packaging it has, got to be the basic of basic I have ever used. Simple white bottle with lavender cap and has information printed at the back of the bottle. The liquid is creamy, not runny, not thick and lightweight. The liquid has a pale pink colour like bubblegum =)) It has medicated scent, it annoys me at times.
What made me go bonkers over it:
Its super duper lightweight on the skin. The moment I apply it on the face and massage it, the lotion sinks into skin right away evening out the complexion. Even when I layer it, does not feel cakey or does not look layered. I have mixed foundation with it and it works great that way as well. On a normal humid day matte finish stays 4+ hour on me. I was able to test it in a Bangalore pleasant weather and My face was matte for 6+ hour. So it really works. I apply this before working out too, and it does not ooze out or give a sticky feeling. It dried a pimple as well and took care of the bump I got from testing a product. I have applied it on the cuts and it manages to sooth it.
For me the only con it has the old school bottle. But due to its non leakage property, it survives nicely in the bag.
I have been using this since August, emptied it repurchased it and I will continue to do so. It's a great daily moisturizer, works well under makeup too. Since it gives a little coverage it evens out skin. There are brands that scream and shout out loud saying makeup plus skincare with sky rocket price. Well this does everything minus the sky rocketed price. Love it. I have heard great thing about its hydration variant as well.
Lacto Calamine lotion is an affordable, lightweight moisturizer which can control oil for many hours, can also dry out a pimple. Damn!!! Too good not be tried. Recommend.
